Terms of Trade for Squee:gee Window Cleaning

1. Introduction

These Terms of Trade ("Terms") govern the provision of window cleaning services ("Services") by Squee:gee Window Cleaning ("we," "us," "our") to our clients ("you," "your"). By engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We offer residential and commercial window cleaning services, including interior and exterior cleaning, as detailed on our website.

3. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings can be made via our online platform, powered by ServiceM8. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation outlining the service details, date, and time.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

  • Pricing: Our services are offered at flat-rate pricing, inclusive of GST, as specified on our website.

  • Payment Terms: Invoices are issued upon completion of services and are due within 7 days. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified in the invoice.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure efficient service delivery, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing safe and unobstructed access to the property.

  • Ensuring windows are closed prior to service.

  • Notifying us of any specific requirements or pre-existing damage.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Client Initiated: Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

  • Squee:gee Initiated: We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, and will notify you promptly.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to delivering high quality services. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will address your concerns promptly.

8. Liability

While we take utmost care, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property.

  • Damage resulting from faulty construction or design.

  • Incidents arising from client negligence.

9. Health and Safety

  • Unless otherwise stated, our Window Cleans do not include Sunrooms, Hard to Reach Skylights, Balustrades (Interior & Exterior), or Pergola Glass. If you wish to have these cleaned, please let us know in advance.

  • We will do our absolute best to access any hard-to-reach windows via telescopic pole or safely by ladder, but we will not undertake any work that compromises health and safety regulations.

  • Our team follows all relevant WorkSafe NZ guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

10. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Your information is used solely for service delivery and administrative purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
