If you are receiving an Interior Window Clean, for best results please clear all window sills, move any fragile items, and move anything obstructing the path to the windows to ensure a proper sparkling clean! Of course, within reason, our team are happy to help with this. We use large towels as a way to prevent any water going onto all valuables and furniture.

If you are receiving an Exterior Only Window Clean, providing we have access, your windows are closed, you do not need to be home! Like all of our customers, you will receive a message when our staff are en-route to your address where you can see us on a map. 

In rare circumstances, we will be unable to reach a window or two due to an incredibly difficult angle or something may be in the way, ie. a Pagola. Rest assured, we will try our absolute best!

Please keep in mind our Basic Clean’s do not include Hard Water Stain Removal or the use of Window Scrapers, we are looking at bringing these add-on service’s in the future. However, most if not all debris will be removed and we will endeavour to do so! 

Cash is not necessary, you can pay for your service easily Online or via Bank Transfer once we send you your Invoice.

Squee:gee’s Interior Window Clean is a basic traditional window clean comprising of: Clearing Cobwebs/Debris, Wipe Down of Frames including Mould & Mildue, Window Wash, Bronze or Fine Steel Wool if required (Unless inappropriate due to Tints etc.), Squeegee, and Final Detailing.

For Exterior Window Clean’s, Squee:gee’s Technicians use state-of-the-art Pure Water Fed-Pole’s which leave a “Spot-Free” Finish. This Water has been filtered to become pure, and when the window is dry, it won’t leave any watermarks in doing so. No More Smears! This also provide’s us with the ability to reach up to three stories in height.

We use our Digital TDS Meter to measure the water hardness from your garden hose or tap. Water hardness is determined by checking the TDS (total dissolved solids) which is measured in PPM (parts per million). The TDS is the total amount of all minerals, salts and metals present in water – and is responsible for water spotting left on the surface of your vehicle or windows after washing. We measure TDS Daily to Ensure a Pure Water Window Clean Spot-Free Result.

All Squee:gee Staff Member’s are trained to the highest degree and we continue to learn everyday. Over the years we have experienced cleaning all type’s of windows!

• Although we may have a ladder, we tend to use this only for high interior windows if it is safe to do so. Staff safety is absolutely paramount. To get a better angle on the Exterior side of cleaning, we may also use our ladder if it is safe to do so. Thanks to our 3+ Storey Reach Water-Fed Pole, we are able to clean 95%+ of Exterior Windows with relative ease. 

• The age of the Glass and Joinery of your Window’s is a big factor in the resulting clean. Naturally, Older Glass and Joinery tends to provide a bit less of a “Spotless” clean when compared to a Brand New Double-Glazed Window (For Example) as it loses a bit of its “shine”. As a home owner, we hope you are understanding in this as some things such as Bee Poo that has been sitting on the glass for a while can get “baked on” and be extremely difficult to remove.

• Speaking of Bee Poo and Stubborn Tiny Spots, we will endeavour to do our absolute best to ensure that these are removed. However, there may be a few here and there post-clean. We find that on newer windows these come off easily, but with older, more “matte” glass, that it can be incredibly difficult to remove these all. You will see our team looking quite intently at the glass, but we are wanting to ensure that both ourselves and yourself are happy with the results!

• Our Basic Frame, Track, and Sill Wipe-downs are unique to Squee:gee Window Cleaning, and for many people it is an absolute bonus that they weren’t expecting! We don’t just clean the glass! Almost all homes Squee:gee carries out a service on provides a fantastic result with a thorough improvement to how it was previously. However, if there is stubborn dirt, grime, or glue, we may be unable to get this completely perfect. Our wipe-downs do not include a vacuuming (additional charge applies), but we will do our absolute best to be vocal as to where some spot vacuuming may be necessary, and, clean up as much of said debris using our large bath towel which we carry around the home.

• Unless otherwise stated, Window Cleans will not include Conservatory Ceiling Windows (Internal & External), High Skylights (Internal & External), Internal Glass Doors, Glass Balustrades etc. These can be easily be quoted upon arrival if you wish for them to be done. Upon completion, please take a quick a walk around with your Cleaning Technician to ensure the result is what you wished for.

• At this stage, we do not do Window Tint Removal. If you have tried to remove your tints and the adhesive is still stuck on the window, we will be unable to remove this, however the window will still be cleaned as per usual.

• Although it is incredibly rare, Pure Deionised water may seep through inside on to the Interior Glass if there is a gap in your joinery. If we spot this as being a problem, we will come inside after we complete our Exterior Clean to tidy up the affected window to ensure the absolute best in finish.

• As we head inside, our Team of Window Cleaners will be bringing a large towel with them along with their equipment. As we go Window to Window, we place the Bath Towel in suitable spots (such as your bed or computer) to minimise any water splatter getting onto valuable item’s. We truly treat the Interior & Exterior of your home with respect. 

• As we get exceptionally busy, we do take on at times Sub-Contractors who carry out work for Squee:gee. These Sub-Contractors are vetted to the highest standards, and because they are business owners themselves, provide the absolute best quality work. Any Tips received would be provided to the Sub-Contractor immediately, and any Reviews received for jobs that Sub-Contractor’s carry out provides them with a monetary bonus as a way of thanks. You will still receive the same great Squee:gee Customer Service and Quality Window Clean!

Rest Assured, Each and Every Staff Member and Every Sub-Contractor will carry out their best possible work with each and every home that they clean – Complete with utmost respect of your home. We understand that unlike Exterior Only Cleaning Companies, Interior Window Cleaning is incredibly intrusive and so respect for both the home and homeowner is paramount.

Depending on the Quality of your Joinery, Water Ingress can happen with a Home SoftWash. Although we do everything we can to prevent this, in order to provide a great exterior finish sometimes some water will come in. Unfortunately as the age and quality is outside of our control, we are unable to provide a guarantee or the like that no water will come inside. This is why we suggest placing old towels near these places, especially if you have not had your Home SoftWashed before and may not know where the leak points may be when a SoftWash Occurs. The reason we mention “Old Towels” is because of the colour changing aspects of our Sodium Hydrochloride (Liquid Chlorine/”Bleach”) + Bio-degradeable House Wash Mix.

• Please ensure that all of your doors and windows are completely shut. Please visually inspect weather stripping and place old towels inside on the sills if you know you have leaking issues or in-doubt. Even though this is a SoftWash Service and not using damaging high-pressure, we will do our utmost care to prevent any water ingress.
• Please ensure that we have access to all parts of your property.
• Please ensure that we have access to a working water source.
• Please ensure that all of your pets and children are inside the home.
• Please move your vehicle off the driveway if you can.

• Outdoor Items: Please move all potted plants, tables, chairs, decor, etc., at least a few metres away from the house. Our amazing technicians sometimes work alone and having these items moved allows them to do their job without incurring additional costs. 

Our House Washing Terms of Service:

We are not responsible or liable for any of the following:
Pre-existing damage to any parts of your home including siding, fascia, roofing, windows, screens, concrete, pavers, stonework, brick, tile, decks, fencing, gutters, or roofing.

The nature of this gentle washing technique is such that some tough or stubborn dirt or marks can remain after washing. The presence of such stains or marks is accepted by the Client.

Standard Soft Washing does not include the removal of any of the following: Rust, oil, grease, glue, paint, caulk, concrete, or any other non-organic material from your surfaces.

Please note, our Soft Wash service is a House Wash Service only and your Window’s will be SoftWashed and Triple-Rinsed. This will leave the Window’s clean, but will not provide a superior “streak-free, spotless” finish. If you wish to have your Exterior Window’s Cleaned, we would be more than happy to do this at an additional cost, starting at $115.00 incl. GST for a 1-2 Bedroom Home. 

Buildings are never completely water-tight, particularly villas and other older homes. We take the utmost care when washing but it is expected that small amounts of water may enter the building during a wash. The SoftWash Company is not responsible for any damage that this might cause nor for cleaning up any water that might come inside.

The client must advise us if there are any areas of the building that are not watertight ahead of the wash so that these areas can receive particular attention by our Technicians.

Final Walk-Around:

We tend to do a final walk-around with our customers (if you are home) before the invoice is sent to ensure that they are happy with their service upon completion!

We tend to take a lot of before-and-after photos to see how proud we are of our work!
